Gift Voucher (Gift Card) Terms & Conditions for Paid and Promotional (Free Gift Vouchers)

  1. Purchase
    • Gift Vouchers are available for purchase as follows:
      • Online: fixed denominations of $20, $50, $100, $200, $300, and $500
      • In-store: any whole dollar amount between $20 and $1,000
    • All prices are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST.
    • Purchasers must provide accurate details at the time of purchase. Gift Vouchers may be issued to a nominated recipient. MUCKOFF reserves the right to verify identity and entitlement to use a voucher at the time of redemption.
  2. Validity
    • Paid Gift Vouchers are valid for three (3) years from the date of issue, in accordance with applicable law.
    • Promotional, charity, or donated (free) Gift Vouchers are valid for three (3), six (6), or twelve (12) months, as specified on the voucher. These vouchers are not sold for consideration and may have shorter validity periods in accordance with applicable law.
    • Expired vouchers will not be accepted, except where required by law.
  3. Delivery
    • Gift Vouchers may be delivered via:
      • Email (free of charge)
      • Print-at-home (online purchases)
      • Post (in-store purchases only), subject to a $10.00 AUD delivery fee per address
    • Posted vouchers are dispatched within two (2) business days via Australia Post Express, with tracking provided.
    • MUCKOFF is not responsible for delays or non-delivery due to incorrect information supplied or circumstances outside its reasonable control.
  4. Redemption
    • Gift Vouchers are redeemable for car wash and detailing services only at participating MUCKOFF locations, unless otherwise specified.
    • Bookings are required and are subject to availability.
    • Gift Vouchers must be presented at or prior to vehicle drop-off. Where a booking is made by phone, a valid voucher reference may be required. If a valid voucher is not presented at the time of service, MUCKOFF reserves the right to require alternative payment at the applicable standard rate.
  5. Usage Conditions
    • Each Gift Voucher is redeemable in a single transaction only and must be used in full at the time of redemption.
    • If the service value is:
      • Less than the voucher value: any unused balance will be forfeited
      • Greater than the voucher value: the customer must pay the difference
    • Gift Vouchers:
      • Are not redeemable for cash
      • Cannot be used to purchase other Gift Vouchers
      • Cannot be split across multiple transactions
  6. Promotional / Free Gift Vouchers
    • Only one (1) promotional, charity, or donated voucher may be redeemed per transaction.
    • Such vouchers may be limited to specific services, packages, or promotional periods, as stated on the voucher.
    • All stated conditions and restrictions must be complied with at the time of redemption.
  7. Cancellation and No-Show Policy
    • Bookings made using Gift Vouchers are subject to this policy.
    • Customers are required to provide reasonable notice of cancellation or rescheduling. Less than two (2) hours’ notice or failure to attend a confirmed booking (“no-show”) may be treated as a late cancellation.
    • In the event of a late cancellation or no-show, MUCKOFF reserves the right, to the extent permitted by law, to:
      • Treat the Gift Voucher as redeemed (in full or in part), and/or apply a reasonable cancellation fee reflecting costs incurred
      • Require payment for the reserved service time
    • MUCKOFF may exercise discretion in applying this policy and will consider individual circumstances where appropriate.
  8. Lost, Stolen or Misused Vouchers
    • Gift Vouchers should be treated like cash.
    • To the extent permitted by law, MUCKOFF is not responsible for lost or stolen vouchers.
    • MUCKOFF may require proof of purchase and identification to verify a voucher before redemption.
  9. Consumer Guarantees
    • Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes, restricts, or modifies any rights or remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law, including consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded by law.
  10. Amendments
    • MUCKOFF reserves the right to amend these Terms & Conditions from time to time.
    • The current version will be published on the MUCKOFF website and will apply to Gift Vouchers issued after the date of publication, and to existing vouchers to the extent permitted by law.
